Tuesday, May 19th - Today was a bit more relaxing. George, Donna and Pete went into DC to do some sightseeing and go to the U.S. Dept. of Engraving. Ken's cousin GeeGee and her husband Timmy flew in and came to stay with us at the house. We did some shopping in downtown Annapolis - lots of great shops and you can't beat the scenery!

Then we had lunch at a favorite restaurant of Ben's and decided to sit outside. We had a ridiculously messed up lunch: not enough bowls of soup, then too many, too much help from waitstaff getting it all wrong. Then the birds decided to sit in the branches over our table and you can guess what dropped in next! Good thing we could laugh about it, even though the bill was wrong too~ But the cream of crab soup was worth it!

That day was a practice day for the Blue Angels flight team, and boy did they practice! We watched them while we were in town and they also flew out by our house. Very impressive. I just wish we could have seen their show the next day. By the way, they are also very hard to photograph. By the time you hear them, they've already gone past you!
